EVERYWHERE PEOPLE GO
HUNGRY WITHOUT FOOD,
PEOPLE WITH DIABETES DIE,
WHEN THEY GO WITHOUT INSULIN.

Imagine a young person knowing that they will die from a shortage of insulin brought on by financial greed or politics, by what is manufactured in unlimited quantities for less than a penny for each life-saving dose.

All of us with this condition face the possibility of blindness and an early death. But I can't imagine anything worse than a persons life slowly strangled away because their supply of insulin is exhausted. Even as someone living in comfort thousands of miles away, is delaying an eventual cure for this condition all in the name of "morality", or the "dignity" of human life.

Unfortunately this is a horror that takes place in much of the third world every day.
